Land Assignment At The State Capital In Harrisburg, PA – March 30, 2023

We had a boots-on-the-ground team go to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on March 30, 2023, to do a land assignment in front of the state capital. 

The team consisted of Susan Wilkins, Colleen McColgan, Derrick Slodysko, and Kari Gibelius. Well done to this group of good and faithful servants of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Below is a report from the team along with pictures and video of the assignment. 

“Coach & Jennifer, The land assignment on Thursday was really powerful. We met up in Harrisburg around noon. We drove in together and sowed our first seed at Denim Coffee House across from the capital. 

“We did our land assignment in front of the capital (1723 Commonwealth Ave. Harrisburg, PA, 17120) underneath a blooming Saucer Magnolia tree. When we got to the prayer of blessing over the land, I felt Holy Spirit prompt me to have Derrick read it because of his calling in Government in PA. It was very powerful and emotional. 

“Afterward, I took a picture of him from the back as he was staring up at the capital. We renamed it: Freedom of the Living God.

“Next, we walked to the Susquehanna River (444 miles long and goes into the Chesapeake River and Atlantic Ocean) to do the water assignment (near Harrisburg Sunken Garden at 1210 N. Front St. Harrisburg, PA 17102). We began at 2:22 pm. 

“In the midst of doing the water assignment, the river was flowing pretty fast. There were many geese honking around us. We saw a large staff-like stick flow past us. We renamed it: Heavenly Flow.

“As we were leaving the area to go to our gate assignment, we saw and filmed a single bald eagle. Derrick erupted in shouts of joy upon seeing it because unbeknownst to us he had asked the Holy Spirit to show him an eagle if Father was pleased with us and what we were doing. COME ON, GOD!

“As we were walking to the gate assignment I saw a man asking for money on the corner with a sign. I felt God wanted us to stop and pray for him. We gave him some money and asked him how we could pray for him. He said for his leg to heal. His name is Jeff. After some conversation, he confessed to having spent time in prison, said he was a heroin addict, and that he believed in God. He even mentioned the prodigal son. He said he almost died of overdoses 3 times. Susan then began to share her testimony of having 2 brothers who were heroin addicts and were delivered from addiction because of Jesus. She told him that surrendering to Jesus is the answer. She spoke very powerfully to him and told him God spoke to us to stop, and that GOD saw him, loved him, and asked us to speak to him, minister to him, and pray for him. Susan asked him very firmly to hold out his hands and receive his healing. We all huddled around him – and all the traffic – to pray for him. He was very weepy and appreciative.

“We then moved on to our gate assignment at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Bridge at the western end of the city. The capital dome can be seen in between these 145-foot-high pillars. (State Street Bridge and N. 7th Street Harrisburg, PA — close to PA Treasury at 129 Finance Building, Harrisburg, PA 17120) The gate was a bridge right next to and above the original Harris train station and one of the power grids. After doing the gate assignment we renamed it: Liberty Crossing.

“As we left there going under the underpass, we began to sing and play on my phone – The Battle Hymn of the Republic. As we approached the parking garage we passed the PA Department of Health Vital Records Office where the birth certificates are. Susan felt very strongly that we should stop and pray in the spirit and anoint the sign with Jeanette’s oil. We did so, and then sowed into the city one last time with our parking fee and left the city. It was another powerful land assignment with fellow believers. It was amazing.

“Side note: There is a prophetic painter out of Harrisburg (bibric on Instagram -silent preacher/prophetic art) who on 9/22/22 did a live painting of what he received from the Lord for Harrisburg, PA. You can refer to what he says in his posts, one of which is from 10/2/22.”
